The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency, Engr. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji (KSA), has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic death of Alhaji Kazeem Animasaun, a respected community leader and prominent son of Eruwa, Ibarapa East Local Government Area of Oyo State.
Adedeji, in a condolence message, described Animasaun’s death as a painful and devastating loss to his immediate family, the Eruwa Butchers Association and the entire Eruwa community.
The deceased reportedly lost his life in a violent attack on a local farm on Wednesday, while others who were attacked alongside him sustained injuries.
Describing the incident as tragic and unfortunate, the APM candidate said the late Animasaun would be remembered for his generosity, peaceful disposition and unwavering commitment to the unity, progress and development of Eruwa.

He noted that the deceased devoted himself to serving his people and promoting peaceful coexistence, adding that his contributions to the community would remain indelible in the hearts of those who knew him.
Adedeji expressed concern over the circumstances surrounding the attack, calling on relevant security agencies to launch an immediate and thorough investigation into the incident and ensure that those responsible are apprehended and brought to justice.
He stressed that justice for the deceased and the injured victims was essential to restoring peace and public confidence in the community, particularly at a time when residents are mourning the loss of one of their own.
The APM candidate further urged security agencies to intensify efforts to protect lives and property, especially in rural communities, where farmers and other residents must be able to carry out their daily activities without fear of violent attacks.
Adedeji extended his heartfelt condolences to the immediate and extended family of the deceased, members of the Eruwa Butchers Association and the entire people of Eruwa over the unfortunate incident.
He also prayed for the speedy recovery of those who sustained injuries during the attack.
“May Almighty Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds, grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus and give his family and loved ones the strength to bear this devastating loss,” Adedeji prayed.
He added that although Eruwa had lost a respected community figure, the legacy of service, peace and dedication to the people left behind by Alhaji Kazeem Animasaun would continue to be cherished by generations to come.
