Kehinde Giwa, a prominent business mogul, youth advocate, and chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan North West Local Government, has extended warm congratulations to the Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, and his wife, Engr. (Mrs) Olufunke Makinde, on their installation as Aare Omoluabi and Yeye Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom.
The revered titles were conferred by His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Odundun II, the Deji of Akure Kingdom, in commemoration of the monarch’s 10th Coronation Anniversary — a symbolic celebration of leadership, cultural heritage, and honour.
In a goodwill message issued on Thursday, Kehinde Giwa described the honour as a “resounding endorsement” of Governor Makinde’s integrity, humility, and transformative impact in Oyo State and beyond.
“As a youth and vibrant aspirant for the Ibadan NorthWest/SouthWest Federal Constituency, I join well-meaning Nigerians in applauding this prestigious recognition.
It reflects the true character of Omoluabi that Governor Makinde and his wife embody — leaders who serve with vision, compassion, and dedication to the people,” Giwa noted.
He also commended the Deji of Akure and the people of Akure Kingdom for recognizing and honouring such exemplary leadership at a time when Nigeria needs role models with purpose and clarity.
“Congratulations to Their Excellencies, the Aare and Yeye Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom. May your light continue to shine brighter as you lead with wisdom and sincerity,” Giwa added.
