Panic gripped Ibadan on Friday night as reports emerged that Fresh FM, a leading radio station in the city, was on fire.
A Facebook post by Samuel Ibikunle Arugbobobi alerted the public, urging immediate intervention from the fire service.
“Fresh FM is currently on fire! We urgently need the Fire Service to respond immediately. Please spread the word and alert the nearest station,” the post read.
As of press time, the extent of the damage and possible casualties were yet to be confirmed.
Emergency responders had not released an official statement, but eyewitnesses and social media users continued to share updates, calling for swift action.
Fresh FM, founded by musician and broadcaster Yinka Ayefele, is a popular radio station in Ibadan and the South-West region, known for its engaging content.
