Ido Local Government Chairmanship aspirant, Engr. Oladimeji Olatilewa Ayinla, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
As part of his goodwill gesture and commitment to the welfare of the people, Engr. Ayinla rolled out the distribution of food packs and cash gifts to residents across the local government area.
The outreach, which covered Ward 1 through Ward 10, saw the distribution of bags of rice to party members, local executives, community leaders, religious leaders, and other key stakeholders within Ido Local Government.
Speaking during the distribution exercise, Engr. Ayinla emphasized the importance of compassion, unity, and support for one another, especially during festive periods.
He noted that the initiative was aimed at easing the economic burden on residents and ensuring that more families could celebrate Eid with joy.
