Benedict Akika, one of the core loyalists of Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, who was kidnapped in his Ibadan private residence has regained freedom.
A close family source who doesn’t want name in print confirmed this to westernmirror..ng on Wednesday evening.
Westernmirror.com.ng had earlier reported how
Akika’s abduction had culminated in a wild outcry for his immediate release.
Members, supporters and followers of Omituntun Benedict Foundation (OBF) had earlier turned out in large number across various religious worship places including Christian and Muslims to seek divine intervention in Akika’s release.
According to the close family source, “it is confirmed”.
