Inferno: Akintayo Shows Empathy, Visits Spare Parts Market To Commiserate With Victims*

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, paid a prompt visit to the Agodi Spare parts market, which was ravaged by fire in the early hours of Saturday.

Hon. Akintayo arrived at the scene as early as 5 am, accompanied by government officials responsible for containing the fire.

While assessing the damage, he expressed his sadness over the incident and commiserated with the affected traders.

The Chairman advised the market traders to take precautions over their wares and goods, emphasizing the importance of switching off all electrical appliances when leaving their goods unattended.

This, he noted, would help prevent similar incidents in the future.
