Independence Day: Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple Celebrates Nigeria @65  

The Vice Chairman of Egbeda Local Government and Political Head/Administrator of Ajorosun LCDA, Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple, has joined Nigerians across the country in celebrating the nation’s Independence Anniversary, describing it as a time of sober reflection, renewed hope, and collective responsibility.

In his Independence message, Hon. Simple noted that October 1st remains a significant date in Nigeria’s history, symbolizing freedom, unity, and the determination of a people to chart their own destiny.

He said, *“Our independence reminds us of the courage of our heroes past who fought for the liberty we now enjoy.

It also places on us the responsibility to work together to strengthen our democracy, promote peace, and uphold justice.

This is a day to rededicate ourselves to building a Nigeria that truly reflects the greatness of its people.”

The Ajorosun LCDA administrator urged Nigerians to remain resilient and optimistic despite current challenges, stressing that the nation’s diversity should be seen as a source of strength rather than division.

While appreciating the developmental strides of Governor Seyi Makinde in Oyo State, Hon. Simple assured the people of Egbeda and Ajorosun LCDA of his unwavering commitment to grassroots growth, inclusiveness, and responsive governance.

He added, “Nigeria is blessed with abundant human and natural resources. What we need is the collective will to harness these blessings for national prosperity.

Let us keep faith alive, let us embrace love over hate, and unity over division. Our future is far brighter than our past.”

Hon. Simple prayed for peace, security, and progress in Nigeria, charging all citizens to be agents of positive change in their communities.

Together, we will rise and build the nation of our dreams,” he concluded.
