In a strong demonstration of grassroots development and civic responsibility, Hon. Steven Fapetu, Supervisor for Mineral Resources in Ido Local Government and Councillor representing Ward 10, has donated 500 concrete blocks in support of the ongoing construction of the Olupoyi Customary Court Hall in Omi-Apata Local Council Development Area (LCDA).

The initiative, spearheaded by Hon. Barr. Olayemi Oluwasina, the Political Head and Administrator of Omi-Apata LCDA, is part of a broader strategy to improve access to justice and strengthen local governance infrastructure.
While presenting the donation, Hon. Fapetu emphasized the significance of a functional justice system at the grassroots level. He stated that:

> “A well-equipped Customary Court Hall is vital for ensuring peaceful conflict resolution and delivering fair, timely justice to our people. It’s an investment in the peace and stability of our community.”

He further praised Hon. Oluwasina for his visionary leadership and commitment to the socio-political advancement of the LCDA.

Hon. Fapetu also urged fellow political officeholders, traditional leaders, and community members to emulate the gesture and contribute towards the swift completion of the project.
The Olupoyi Customary Court Hall is poised to become a vital civic institution—serving as a symbol of justice, equity, and progress for generations to come. With continued support from stakeholders, it promises to be a cornerstone in the delivery of grassroots justice in the Ido Local Government Area.
