In a bid to enhance security and improve the quality of life for residents of Ido Constituency, Hon. Rasaq. Adekunle Mabaje has facilitated the installation of a set of solar powered lights in the area.
The solar powered lights, which are expected to illuminate major streets and neighborhoods in Ido Constituency, providing a safer and more conducive environment for residents.
In a release made available to the media, Hon. Mabaje said the project was part of his efforts to address the concerns of his constituents and improve the overall well-being of the community.
“As a representative of the people, it is my duty to ensure that their needs are met and their lives are improved,” Hon. Mabaje said. “I am committed to facilitating projects that will have a positive impact on our community.”
“The phase one of the light up project of healthcare centers , garages and markets commences in Ido Local government.
“The light up at healthcare centers will enhance night services provided by the doctor and nurses at the various centers.
“Installation of light up at the market is to improve the economic activities of our people, where business transactions can be conducted to 10 pm by our people, the various garages are also included in the projects. Bus parks and okada parks to improve security
The light up project is planned to cover all the wards in Ido Local Government;
Ward 1: Ilaju healthcare center, Oni Ido palace junction, Omi apata police station
Ward 2: Akufo healthcare center, Akufo market, Akufo junction
Ward 7: Ogbagba, Alada junction, Alada health centers oganla, Gbekuba
Ward 8: Ido garage, Ido Akufo Education junction, Ido healthcare center, Plank Seller market junction, Ido housing juction
Ward 9: Omi onigbagbo, Bako healthcare, Bako primary school, Bode Igbo market, Police station
Ward 10: Oloko junction, Elere junction, Leo maternity center, Ado quarters healthcare, Nnpc junction akala way
The solar powered lights are equipped with modern technology and are designed to provide reliable and sustainable lighting for the community.
Hon. Mabaje has promised to continue facilitating projects that will benefit his constituents and improve the quality of life in Ido Constituency.
