The Leader of the Legislative Arm of Ido Local Government, Hon. Adebowale Adedeji, has commended the Executive Chairman, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, for his continued commitment to grassroots development and community welfare.
Adedeji gave the commendation on his facilitation of financial donation to support community development efforts in parts of the local government. The symbolic presentation, which took place on April 17, 2026, witnessed leaders and stakeholders from beneficiary communities gathered in appreciation.
At the event, a cheque of ₦500,000 each was presented to the Isokan Community Development Association and Orisumibare Community in Oganla, making a total of #1Million naira, as part of efforts to strengthen local initiatives and improve living conditions.
Hon. Adedeji praised the council boss for prioritizing the needs of the people, describing the gesture as a clear demonstration of responsive and people-oriented leadership. He noted that the intervention would go a long way in addressing pressing community needs and fostering unity among residents.
“This is a laudable effort by the Executive Chairman. It reflects a deep understanding of grassroots challenges and a genuine desire to uplift the people,” Adedeji stated.
