The Executive Committee of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Ido Local Government Area has expressed profound gratitude and high commendation to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde, following the successful and safe release of the recently abducted children in the state.
In a statement issued and signed on behalf of the Ido APM Excos by the South West APM Public Relations Officer, Hon. Folorunsho Oluwabukola Abiodun, the party praised the Governor’s swift action, tactical leadership, and unwavering commitment to the security of lives and property.
The APM noted that the prompt intervention of the state government, in seamless collaboration with security agencies, prevented what could have been a prolonged tragedy for the affected families and the state at large.
“Governor Seyi Makinde has once again demonstrated that the security and welfare of the people remain the topmost priority of his administration,” the statement read. “The relief brought to the parents of these children, and indeed all citizens of Oyo State, is immeasurable. We commend his proactive stance and the tireless efforts of our security personnel.”

While celebrating the safe return of the children, Hon. Folorunsho Oluwabukola Abiodun emphasized the need for sustained vigilance and community-policing efforts across all local government areas. The Ido APM Excos reiterated their readiness to support initiatives aimed at fostering peace and stability within Ido LG and Oyo State as a whole.
The party extended its warmest thoughts to the rescued children and their families, praying for their quick rehabilitation from the trauma of the incident.
