Ibadan South West Local Government Chairman, Honourable Kehinde Adeyemi Akande, has congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde and his wife on the recent conferment of the esteemed title of Aare Omoluabi and Yeye Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom.
In a statement made available to the press men,, Honourable Akande noted that the traditional ruler’s decision to confer this title on Governor Makinde is a confirmation to the governor’s exceptional leadership and commitment to the people of Oyo State and beyond.
“The conferment of the Aare Omoluabi title on Governor Seyi Makinde is a reflection of the mind of the masses towards his leadership,” Honourable Akande said. “It shows that the people of Akure Kingdom and indeed Oyo State appreciate his dedication to public service and his impact on the lives of the people.”
Honourable Akande further stated that Governor Makinde’s administration has been characterized by visionary leadership, integrity, and a commitment to the welfare of the people.
“We congratulate Governor Seyi Makinde and his wife on this well-deserved honour,” Honourable Akande said. “We have no doubt that this chieftaincy title will further inspire Governor Makinde to continue leading Oyo State with wisdom and integrity, cementing his enduring legacy and commitment to the welfare of his people.”
The Chairman prayed for God’s continued guidance and protection on Governor Makinde’s life and administration. “We wish Governor Seyi Makinde and his wife God’s continued guidance and protection as they continue to serve the people of Oyo State,” Honourable Akande said.
