The Executive Chairman of Ibadan South West Local Government, Hon. Kehinde Akande, has felicitated with respected community leader, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a congratulatory message released today, Hon. Akande described Alhaji Adeleke as a political icon whose influence, wisdom and commitment to grassroots development have continued to shape politics in Ibadan South West and Oyo State at large.
The Chairman noted that Alhaji Adeleke has remained a steady pillar of support for the party and for community progress over the years. He commended the celebrant for his mentorship role, philanthropy and consistent efforts at promoting unity among political stakeholders and residents.
“Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke is a political icon and a reference point in grassroots politics. His dedication to service, his guidance to younger politicians and his love for the people are worthy of emulation,” Akande stated.
Hon. Akande added that the celebrant’s open-door approach and readiness to support developmental initiatives have made him a rallying point in Ibadan South West. He said the local government values the contributions of leaders like Alhaji Adeleke who continue to offer counsel and support for growth at the grassroots.
The Chairman prayed for long life, good health, more wisdom and strength for Alhaji Adeleke as he marks another year.
