Ibarapakan Congratulates Makinde, Wife on Aare Omoluabi and Yeye Omoluabi Conferment

Member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has congratulated His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde and his wife, Mrs. Tamunominini Makinde, on the conferment of the prestigious chieftaincy titles of Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom and Yeye Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom by Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Deji of Akure and Deji-in-Council.

In his congratulatory text on Friday, July 18, 2025, Hon. Adepoju described Governor Makinde as a worthy bearer of the Omoluabi title and an exemplary leader, living up to the noble ideals of what is just and right.

According to him, the Executive Governor of Oyo State and his amiable wife are a personification of a true Omoluabi, emphasising that the Deji of Akure’s wise hands, in conferring the titles, acknowledge Makinde’s noble spirit, his commitment to the welfare of his people and his reverence for the rich cultural heritage that cradles his progressive endeavours.

The Ibarapa-born politician cum technocrat also lauded Makinde and his wife’s exceptional public stewardship marked by the values of integrity, compassion and visionary leadership that inspires hope and confidence in the hearts of the people of Oyo State and beyond.

Congratulating Makinde and Tamunominini on the conferment of what he described as a great honour that reflects their dedication to public service, the Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Character hailed the Governor and his wife for their outstanding contributions not to the growth of Oyo State alone but the entire Yoruba land.

He, however, prayed for the family to continue to receive the blessings of the Almighty God as they continue to serve God and humanity with utmost humility and simplicity.
