Ibarapa LG Chairmen congratulate Makinde, Wife on Installation as Aare Asoludero, Yeye Aare Asoludero

The Chairmen of Ibarapa Central, Ibarapa North and Ibarapa East Local Governments have congratulated Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, and his wife, Chief (Mrs) Tamunominini Makinde, on their installation as Aare Asoludero and Yeye Aare Asoludero of Ibarapaland, respectively.

In a joint congratulatory message, the council chairmen described the conferment as a fitting recognition of the governor and his wife’s contributions to the development, unity and advancement of Ibarapaland and Oyo State at large.

Hon. Olusola Ayodele Adeleke of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Lateef Akorede of Ibarapa North Local Government and Hon. Kazeem Arogundade of Ibarapa East Local Government, said the traditional honour was a demonstration of the deep respect and affection the people of Ibarapaland have for the governor.

They noted that the installation of Governor Makinde as Aare Asoludero was particularly significant, describing it as a recognition of his administration’s commitment to inclusive development and its efforts to strengthen the bond between government and traditional institutions.

According to them, the conferment of the title on the governor’s wife, Chief (Mrs) Tamunominini Makinde, as Yeye Aare Asoludero, was equally well deserved, considering her support for her husband and her contributions to initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of women, children and vulnerable members of society.

The council chairmen prayed for continued wisdom, good health and strength for the governor and his wife as they assume their new traditional responsibilities, expressing confidence that the honours would further deepen their commitment to the growth and prosperity of Ibarapaland.

They also congratulated the people and traditional institutions of Ibarapaland for conferring the prestigious titles on the couple, describing the occasion as a celebration of the enduring relationship between the people of the region and the Makinde administration.

The chairmen wished the governor and wife successful reign as Aare Asoludero and Yeye Aare Asoludero of Ibarapaland, respectively, praying that their reign would bring greater unity, peace and development to the land.
