Construction of Oke Olókun Bridge Commences in Igboora

The long-standing challenges faced by residents around Oke Olókun River in Igboora are finally being addressed as construction of a new bridge officially commences.

For many years, the river has been a death trap, especially during the rainy season making it nearly impossible for residents and school children to cross safely.

Hon. Olusola Adeleke, the Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, has taken a bold step to end the suffering of the people by initiating the construction of the much-needed bridge.
