As Ibadan Prepares for Davido Concert, Oyo Govt Names Don Tee Committee Chairman, DJ Secxy, Lagbaja Among Others

As preparations intensify ahead of the highly anticipated Davido Live Concert in Ibadan, the Oyo State Government through the State Agency for Youth Development, under the leadership of Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana, has officially constituted the concert’s Organising Committee, appointing popular showbiz promoter Don Tee as the Committee Chairman.

The announcement was made today, through the Head of Media Unit to the Chairman, Opeyemi Rasheed Socrates, following a stakeholders’ meeting convened by the Agency Chairman in Ibadan, aimed at ensuring effective coordination and smooth execution of the event expected to draw thousands of music lovers from across the Southwest.

The much-anticipated concert is scheduled to be held on Sunday, November 9th, 2025 at Liberty Stadium, Ibadan, Oyo State capital.

Speaking after the inauguration, the Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, Hon. Adebowale Falana described the concert as another opportunity to promote youth engagement, tourism, and entertainment-driven economic growth in the state.

> “Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration has continuously provided platforms for the creative industry to thrive. This concert will not only celebrate music but also empower young entrepreneurs, vendors, and entertainers across Ibadan and beyond,” He stated.

Committee Chairman, Tony Rowland Awobode Don Tee, in his remarks, expressed appreciation for the confidence reposed in him and assured that the committee would deliver a world-class entertainment experience.

> “We are ready to showcase the beauty and vibrancy of Ibadan. With the support of the State Government and the creative community, this concert will be one of the most memorable events ever hosted in Oyo State,” Don Tee affirmed.

The concert, featuring multiple award-winning artist Davido, is expected to spotlight Oyo State as a major entertainment hub and further strengthen partnerships between the government and private sector stakeholders in the creative industry.
