Ibadan North East Local Government Swears in New Supervisory Councillors and Special Assistants

Ibadan North East Local Government has sworn in three new Supervisory Councillors and two Special Assistants, marking a significant milestone in the council’s efforts to enhance governance and service delivery.

The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Ibadan North East LG premise on 31st December 2024.

The newly sworn-in Supervisory Councillors are Mr. Fajembola Olukunle Olubunmi, Mr. Sulaiman Adedokun, and Mr. Busayo Oyejide, while the two Special Assistants are Mr. Ajulo Femi Ojo and Mr. Ridwan Alatise Damilola.

At the ceremony, the Vice Chairman of Ibadan East LCDA, Hon. Mrs. Mary Esormior, representing the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon Ibrahim Akintayo aka O mu Yes charged the new appointees to be committed to the council’s vision and mission.

She emphasized the importance of teamwork, integrity, and transparency in their duties, urging them to promote the good image of the local government and work towards the betterment of the community.

Hon. Esormior also assured the new appointees of the council’s support and cooperation in their endeavors.

In response, the newly sworn-in Supervisory Councillors and Special Assistants expressed their gratitude to the Executive Chairman and the council for the opportunity to serve.

They pledged to work diligently, cooperate with the Chairman and management, and contribute their quota to the progress and development of Ibadan North East Local Government.

The new appointees also promised to be responsive to the needs of the community, ensuring that the council’s policies and programs align with the people’s aspirations.
