Ibadan North East LG Chairman, Hon. Akintayo Ibrahim, Condoles with Governor Makinde over Brother’s Demise

Hon. Akintayo Ibrahim, Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to Engr. Seyi Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, on the passing of his elder brother, Engineer Sunday Makinde, who died in the early hours of today, January 24, 2025.

In a condolence message, Hon. Akintayo described Engineer Sunday Makinde’s demise as a great loss not only to the Makinde family but also to the entire state of Oyo. He acknowledged the significant contributions Engineer Makinde made to the development of the state and the country at large.

Hon. Akintayo prayed that God would grant the Makinde family, particularly Governor Makinde, the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. He also prayed for the repose of the soul of Engineer Sunday Makinde, asking God to grant him eternal rest.
