I receive threats over ongoing power sector reforms – Minister Adelabu

The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has said he has received several threats from unknown persons who are against the ongoing reforms in the country’s power sector.

Adelabu, who stated this during an interview on Fresh FM Ibadan, said he would not be bullied and intimidated by those against the progress and success recorded in the sector.

The minister also claimed that cabals and cartels are behind the blowing up of power transmission substations with dynamite and the pulling down of a power line.

He said: “There will be resistance, people stand in your way, saboteurs and others. Let me say this for the first time. I received threat calls,” he said.
