The Executive Assistant to the Governor on Disability Matters, Hon. Timothy Olufemi, has commended Hon. Kolawole Shehu Adedeji (KSA) for his outstanding empowerment programme for persons with disabilities, widows, the elderly, and other vulnerable members of society in Ido Local Government.
Hon. Olufemi described the initiative as a reflection of compassion and inclusive leadership, noting that it aligns with the people-centered approach of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration.
He particularly appreciated the presentation of ₦280,000 to a deaf mother to support her child’s school fees, describing the gesture as life-changing and a demonstration that education remains a priority for every child, regardless of disability.
He also applauded the distribution of wheelchairs, elbow crutches, bags of rice, cash gifts, and other relief materials to beneficiaries.

Hon. Olufemi urged other political leaders and well-meaning individuals to emulate Hon. Shehu’s generosity by supporting programmes that improve the lives of persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups.
He prayed that God would continue to bless and strengthen Hon. Kolawole Shehu Adedeji as he remains committed to serving humanity.
Signed
Hon. Timothy Olufemi
