Hon. Sheriff Adeojo promises solar lights across Ido security stations

The Executive Chairman of Ido local government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo has applauded the security operatives in the local government for being proactive by keeping the council area cool and calm from January to December.

The council chairman gave the words of commendation while evaluating security activities within the council area during the December edition of the local government Peace and Security meeting.

Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, therefore, pledged to procure and install solar lights in all conventional security posts, which include the Police, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Operation Burst, and a host of others.

While appreciating their efforts in the outgoing year, the chairman charged them to put more effort in the last few days of the year to curtail the activities of people of the underworld who may be looking for illicit means of rocking the year.

While appreciating the leadership style of the local government chairman, the DPO of Omi-Adio, CSP Ibrahim Ishaq, who spoke on behalf of other security operatives, said they all enjoyed the administrative prowess of the chairman for considering their welfare and assured him to continue doing their best for the people of Ido local government area.
