The Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, on Thursday inspected an ongoing community road project at Lamini Village, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to residents welfare and promising prompt intervention to ensure its timely completion.
During the visit to Lamini in Ward 2 , the LG boss emphasized that the well-being of his people remains the top priority. “The welfare of my people is paramount in this administration,” he declared, urging community leaders to submit their formal request letter to the local government secretariat for immediate action.
Speaking on behalf of the residents, the Community Chairman- Mr. Abass Ariyo expressed profound gratitude for the LG Chairman’s responsiveness. “You are indeed a man of the people. We called you to come, and you came. We are very grateful. God will never let you down in all your future endeavours,” he said.
Mr. Abass Ariyo used the opportunity to outline needs, including construction of drainage, box culvert, road grading. He assured the chairman that he would document their requests in writing as soon as possible and forward it to the local government for urgent processing.
In chairman’s entourage were; Alhaji Musibau Emiola a.k.a Emma the Ido LG PDP Party Chairman, Hon. Olugbenga Olawale- Honourable councilor for Ward 2, Hon. Adedamola Tolulope Olajide- Supervisory Councillor for Works, Hon.Nureni Wahab Keke- Supervisory Councillor for Environment among others.
