Hon Lateef Akorede Convenes Crucial Security Meeting with Security Agencies and Traditional Rulers in Ibarapa North LGA

The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa North Local Government Area, Hon. Lateef Akorede, convened a pivotal security meeting at the Ibarapa North Local Government hall. The gathering included representatives from the Area Command and traditional rulers from across Ibarapa North LGA, underscoring a unified commitment to the safety and well-being of the community.

During the session, the Vice Chairman,Hon. Olubisi Akande, representing the Chairman at the meeting, commended the unwavering dedication of security agencies and traditional leaders in safeguarding lives and property within the Local Government Area. He assured them of Hon. Lateef’s administration’s full support and collaboration, emphasizing that security remains a top priority under their administration.

The Vice Chairman stated, “This meeting was called to assess the security situation in the Local Government and foster a strong synergy among security agencies in Ibarapa North Local Government Area.

“Our administration prioritizes security as the bulwark of economic prosperity and development. We can’t have development without security, hence the need to devote our resources to ensuring that every resident of Ibarapa North is safe.

“Let me also commend all our security agencies as well as our local security outfits for the efforts that make our Local Government Area a peaceful haven. We are surely following in the footsteps of the Oyo State Governor, His Excellency Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde, who is winning the battle to keep Oyo safe for all.”

Furthermore, Hon. Lateef has demonstrated his commitment by providing communication equipment and a secure office to Vigilante Groups in the Local Government Area, with a view to enhancing the operational capacity of local security operations and ensuring a safer environment for all residents.
