Hon. Kehinde Giwa Felicitates Governor Seyi Makinde on Six Years of Transformational Leadership

As Oyo State commemorates six impactful years under the leadership of His Excellency, Governor Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, a heartfelt message of commendation has emerged from Hon. Kehinde Giwa, House of Representatives hopeful for Ibadan NorthWest/SouthWest Federal Constituency.

In his message, Hon. Giwa celebrated Governor Makinde’s dedication, resilience, and transformative vision which, over the past six years, have significantly repositioned Oyo State on the path of growth, innovation, and inclusive development.

“In the last six years, we have seen you lead and win the battle to put Oyo State on the path of growth and development. You have delivered unparalleled services to the people,” Hon. Giwa stated.

He praised the Governor’s responsiveness to the needs and voices of the people, describing him as a humane and accessible leader who has consistently provided timely and thoughtful solutions in the face of governance challenges.

“Oyo State has asked questions of you when needed, and you have provided positive and humane answers as and when due. What a privilege to have you at this time,” he added.

While lauding Governor Makinde’s exceptional stewardship, Hon. Giwa noted that such impactful leadership is even more significant in a time when Nigeria is in dire need of sincere, capable, and visionary leaders.

“At a time when the country is in a dire need of positive leadership, you have excelled against all odds. Perhaps these years are just honing steel to prepare you for a bigger but surmountable challenge—a role to end the dearth of leadership in our country,” Giwa suggested.

He concluded his message with a prayer for continued divine guidance and strength for the Governor to finish well and possibly take on higher responsibilities in national service.

“May the Almighty continue to bless you with wisdom, strength, understanding, and good health to continue the good work. Thank you, Your Excellency, for the service,” he concluded.
