The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Adeleke Ayodele Olusola, earlier today received the newly constituted Governing Council of the Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology (OYSCATECH), Igboora, who paid a courtesy visit to his office.


The distinguished team was led by the esteemed Rector of the institution, Prof. Akinola Kehinde, alongside the new Council Chairman, Dr. Amusan Damilare Gideon, and other respected members including Alhaji Salami Lateef Adebayo, Mr. Oseni Abolade Olosun, Dr. Adekunle Onile, Mr. Kareem Adesina Rashid, Dr. Saheed Adetunmbi Ige, Engr. Joseph Oladapo Olaoye, and Mr. Babatunde Akeem.
In his message made available by his personal assistant Azeez Sodiq Adesina while welcoming the team, Hon. Adeleke expressed his heartfelt appreciation for their visit and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to fostering a productive partnership with the College.

He highlighted the importance of the institution as a pillar for youth empowerment, agricultural development and capacity building within Ibarapa Central and beyond.


The Chairman assured the Council of his full administrative support to create an enabling environment for OYSCATECH to thrive and continue delivering on its mandate of academic excellence and community development.

He noted that such synergy between the Local Government and the College would open up new opportunities for infrastructural growth, youth engagement and economic advancement for the people of Ibarapa Central.
While congratulating the Governing Council on their appointment, Hon. Adeleke charged them to bring their wealth of experience to bear in moving the College to greater heights.

The courtesy visit ended on a note of mutual respect and renewed resolve to build stronger ties for the overall benefit of the community.
