The Supervisor for Works in Ibadan South West Local Government, Hon. Ashipa Kaseem Opeyemi, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Councillor representing Ward 3 in the 2026 local government elections.
Speaking during his declaration, Hon. Ashipa reaffirmed his commitment to quality representation, grassroots development, and inclusive leadership.
He pledged to prioritize the welfare of residents, attract developmental projects, and ensure that the voices of Ward 3 constituents are adequately represented at the council.
As part of activities marking his declaration, the aspirant demonstrated his support for party members by donating ₦60,000 to members of the APM in Ward 3.
He also presented gifts to party faithful as a gesture of appreciation for their unwavering support and commitment.
Party members and supporters who attended the declaration commended Hon. Ashipa for his generosity and dedication to the progress of the ward.
They expressed confidence in his leadership qualities and assured him of their continued support ahead of the 2026 councillorship election.
Hon. Ashipa urged residents of Ward 3 to remain united and continue supporting the ideals of good governance, promising to run an open-door administration that will promote development and improve the living standards of the people if elected.
