HON AKINTAYO CELEBRATES GOV. MAKINDE @58*  *…felicitate with christians across Ibadan North East LG at Christmas*

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo aka (O mu Yes), has celebrated His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, on the occasion of his 58th birthday, while also felicitating with Christians and the entire people of Ibadan North East Local Government on the celebration of Christmas.

In a statement signed by the Council’s Information Officer, Ikeoye Oyetoro, the Council Boss on behalf of the Legislative Council, Political Functionaries, Traditional Council, Religious Leaders, Management Staff, Staff Members, and the good people of Ibadan North East Local Government and its environs described Governor Makinde as a visionary, people-centred leader, a true man of the people, a game changer, and a goal getter, whose administration has continued to deliver impactful and people-oriented development across Oyo State.

He noted that the coincidence of the Governor’s birthday with the celebration of Christmas is symbolic, reflecting leadership rooted in service, sacrifice, compassion, and love for the people.

The Chairman also extended warm Christmas greetings to His Excellency and his entire household, wishing them peace, joy, and divine blessings.

Hon. Akintayo further used the occasion to felicitate with Christians, political functionaries, religion leaders, management staff, staff members, and all residents of Ibadan North East Local Government home and abroad urging them to embrace the spirit of unity, love, and peaceful coexistence that the Christmas season represents.

The Chairman emphasised that the present administration under the leadership of Engineer Seyi Makinde has been outstanding, impactful, and marked by visible developmental strides in infrastructure, education, healthcare, security, and economic empowerment across Oyo State. He commended the Governor’s unwavering commitment to good governance, transparency, and inclusive leadership, which continues to positively transform the lives of the people.

“As we celebrate both your 58th birthday and the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, we pray that the Almighty God grants you sound health, renewed strength, greater wisdom, and continued success as you continue to lead Oyo State to greater heights,” the statement read.

Similarly, the Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA), Ibadan North East Local Government, Mrs. Omolara Aremu, also felicitated with Christians, political functionaries, management, and the entire workforce of the Local Government on the Christmas celebration. She encouraged staff members to remain dedicated, disciplined, and committed to effective service delivery .

Hon. Akintayo concluded by wishing Christians, residents of Ibadan North East Local Government, and the entire people of Oyo State a joyful Christmas celebration and a peaceful, prosperous New Year.
