Hon. Adeleke Commends Governor Makinde, Celebrates Ambassador Arapaja’s Emergence as PDP National Secretary.

The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Olusola Adeleke has congratulated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde on the successful hosting of the PDP National Convention held in Ibadan on November 15th, 2025. He also extended warm felicitations to Ambassador Taofeeq Arapaja on his emergence as the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The convention brought together party leaders, delegates and stakeholders from across the country in an atmosphere that showcased unity, strength and renewed dedication to the party’s ideals.

In a statement released through his Personal Assistant, Azeez Sodiq to pressmen in Ibadan, Hon. Adeleke praised Governor Makinde for providing the purposeful leadership that ensured the smooth, peaceful and successful conduct of the convention.

According to Hon. Adeleke:

Governor Engr Seyi Makinde deserves commendation for his outstanding leadership in hosting a successful, well-organised and peaceful national convention. His coordination and guidance ensured that Oyo State once again demonstrated its capacity for excellence within the national political space.

Hon. Adeleke further congratulated Ambassador Taofeeq Arapaja, describing his emergence as a reaffirmation of capacity, competence and long-standing loyalty to the PDP.

He added that the emergence of Ambassador Taofeeq Arapaja as the National Secretary of our great party is a testament to his proven leadership, political maturity and dedication to party development. His wealth of experience will undoubtedly strengthen the PDP’s administrative structure and advance our collective vision for a better Nigeria.

The Executive Chairman also applauded delegates for conducting themselves responsibly throughout the convention, noting that their discipline and unity reflect the PDP’s readiness to lead Nigeria with purpose and integrity.
