*Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel Hails Gov. Makinde, Congratulates Ibadan North Sons On Key Appointments

Member representing Ibadan North Constituency 2 in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, widely known as the Jagaban of the 9th and 10th Assembly, has extended warm congratulations to four prominent sons of Ibadan North who were recently appointed into key positions by Governor Seyi Makinde.

The appointees include Hon. Adeniyi Adeyinka Kazim Bibire, who was named the new Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor; Hon. Taiwo Lekan Salami, now Chairman of the Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC); Hon. Kabiru Salami, appointed Executive Assistant on Security Coordination; and Hon. Waheed Adeniyi, who was announced as the new Chairman of the Oyo State Waste Management Authority.

Describing the appointments as a “well-deserved honour,” Hon. Babajide Gabriel praised Governor Makinde for his continued recognition of Ibadan North’s pool of competent and loyal individuals.

“These appointments are a bold testament to the fact that Ibadan North remains a fertile ground for excellence, loyalty, and capable leadership.

I am proud of these men, and I commend His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, for his wisdom in rewarding merit and service,” Hon. Gabriel said.

He further lauded the Governor’s commitment to inclusive and visionary governance, emphasizing that Makinde’s leadership style has remained people-centered and performance-driven.

“Governor Makinde has, once again, demonstrated fairness and strategic thinking.

His administration continues to uplift grassroots leaders and gives opportunities to those who have consistently shown capacity and integrity,” he added.

The lawmaker urged the new appointees to see their elevation as a renewed call to serve and to justify the confidence reposed in them through loyalty, effectiveness, and accountability.

The appointments, which take immediate effect, were announced in a release signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, and made public by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Sulaimon Olanrewaju.
