Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, Celebrates Adebowale Falana ‘Prince’ On His One Year In Office* *… Praises Gov. Makinde And Otunba Famojuro’s Vision For Youth

The Honourable Member representing Ibadan North Constituency 2 in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, has extended warm congratulations to Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana, popularly known as “Prince,” on the occasion of his one-year anniversary as Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development.

Hon. Babajide Gabriel, in a message made available to journalists, described Hon. Falana as ‘a friend and a wonderful brother whom he loves so much ‘, expressing deep pride in his leadership, achievements, and unwavering commitment to youth empowerment across the state.

“It gives me great joy to celebrate my brother and friend, Hon. Adebowale Falana, on his remarkable one year in office.

From the first day he assumed duty, Prince has shown true dedication to the vision of building a youth-driven future in Oyo State.

I am proud of him and all he has achieved within this short time,” he said.

Hon. Babajide Gabriel lauded the transformative strides Hon. Falana has made in key areas such as vocational training, youth engagement, and inter-agency collaboration.

He highlighted the revamping of life skills and vocational training centers, the renovation of the Oyo Durbar Youth Centre into a modern facility, and strategic partnerships with private and federal stakeholders.

“Prince has elevated the youth agency through meaningful reforms, infrastructural upgrades, and cultural engagements.

His ability to maintain an open-door policy and stay connected with grassroots realities is highly commendable. His efforts have not gone unnoticed,” he added.

Hon. Gabriel further extended heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, for appointing Hon. Falana to the position and for continuously investing trust in the capacity of the youth.

“Governor Seyi Makinde’s faith in young people is evident in appointments like that of Hon. Falana.

His Excellency truly loves the youth and strongly believes in what we can do and we are determined to keep proving him right,” he stated.

He also expressed deep appreciation to Otunba Seye Famojuro, a staunch supporter of youth development in the state.

“We sincerely thank Otunba Seye Famojuro for his belief in the potential of Oyo youths and for his unwavering support for our development.

We assure him of our continued activeness, dedication, and service to the people of Oyo State.

We will continue to make him proud,” Hon. Gabriel affirmed.

Hon. Babajide Gabriel concluded by praying for Prince’s continued success in office and beyond.
