Hijrah 1447: Ibadan South LCDA Boss. Hon Teslim Ogundeji Felicitates with Muslim faithful on the new Islamic year 1447 A.H 

The Political Head Administrator of Ibadan South LCDA. Hon Teslim Ogundeji has extended warm felicitations to Muslims across the local government, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large on the occasion of the Islamic New Year, Hijrah 1447 AH.

In his goodwill message, Hon. Teslim A Ogundeji described the Islamic New Year as a moment of reflection, gratitude, and renewed devotion to the principles of peace, sacrifice, and justice as exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

According to him, “The Hijrah reminds us of the noble journey of the Prophet and his companions, a journey that teaches endurance, brotherhood, and faith in divine guidance. As we mark the beginning of 1447 AH, I encourage all Muslims to remain steadfast in their prayers and contribute positively to the development of our community.”

He further called on residents of Ibadan south LCDA to use the New Year to strengthen communal harmony and promote values that foster peaceful coexistence among people of all faiths.

Hon.Teslim also assured the Muslim community of his administration’s continued support for religious harmony, youth development, and inclusive governance, stressing that spiritual and social progress go hand in hand.

“It’s my praying that Allah grants the people of Ibadan south LCDA and the entire nation a year filled with peace, prosperity, and divine mercy.
