The Economic Situation of Nigerians is currently at an arguably All-time Low. Parents could hardly feed their wards, let alone sending them to good schools. The situation has spurred leaders with the hearts of gold, to give back to the society.
One of such acts was witnessed by Party Faithful when the Chairman, Oyo House Committee on Women Affairs and Community Development, Hon. Dr Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide rolled out reliefs and put smiles on the faces of party faithful across the Constituency she represents at the Oyo House of Assembly, Ibadan North Constituency 1 on Wednesday, 25th of September, 2024 at Ibadan North People’s Democratic Party (PDP) local government meeting at Salvation Primary School, Yemetu Ibadan.
The empowerment programme took different phases of the meetings such as: Women,Youths and Elders (Male)
The recipients of the empowerment could not hide their joy for this timely kind gesture, particularly during this economic hardship that currently affects Nigerian citizens.
Each recipient of the cash empowerment appreciated the beautiful Lawmaker, Hon. Comforter Olajide and prayed for her progress laced with more achievement of greater Heights.
While responding to the recipients, Hon. Dr. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide said more Dividends of democracy is coming soon for her Constituency.
She urged all party members to continue to remain loyal to the party, His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde, the Oyo State House of Assembly and local government at Large.
