GSM @57: Cheers To Years Of God’s Grace, Transformative Leadership In Oyo State – Agboworin Celebrates Principalp

As Governor Seyi Makinde marks his 57th birthday, the member of the House of Representatives representing Ibadan South East/North East Federal Constituency, Rep. Abass Adigun Agboworin, has felicitated with the governor, praising his developmental strides in Oyo State.

In a statement issued to commemorate the governor’s birthday, Agboworin described Makinde as a transformative leader who has brought about significant development to Oyo State since assuming office in 2019.

In a congratulatory message personally signed and made available to journalists, the lawmaker, who is also the Chairman, House Committee on Narcotics, he said the governor’s governance style in terms of promoting accountability and transparency is commendable.

Agboworin specifically commended Makinde’s efforts in building up the state’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), improving the road network, embarking on critical infrastructure projects and linking various zones of the state together, including rehabilitation of the inner roads.

The statement read, “As Governor Makinde marks his 57th birthday, I join the good people of Oyo State and Nigerians at large to wish him a happy birthday and many more years of service to humanity.

“First, I want to commend Governor Makinde’s commitment to the development of Oyo State is evident in the various projects and initiatives he has undertaken since assuming office.

“From infrastructure development to economic empowerment, and from good governance to social welfare, Governor Makinde has touched every critical sector of the economy to uplift the state.

“His governance style is also commendable. I respect him for being accountable, transparent and respectful of workers’ welfare in the state.

“His commitment to the welfare of workers is evident in the prompt payment of salaries and pensions, as well as the provision of necessary infrastructure to enhance productivity.”

Agboworin, however, prayed for Governor Makinde’s continued good health, wisdom, and strength to continue his developmental strides in Oyo State.
