Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, on Tuesday received the Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Umar Damagum, Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, and other dignitaries who paid a condolence visit following the demise of his stepmother.
The delegation also included traditional rulers, led by prominent Emirs from across Bauchi and the North, who expressed their heartfelt sympathies to Governor Bala and his family during this period of mourning.
Speaking, Governor Bala expressed gratitude for their support, noting the value of solidarity in moments of grief.
Mohammed described his late stepmother as a pillar of strength who contributed immensely to the family and community.
In their separate remarks, Ambassador Damagun and Governor Fintiri conveyed their collective condolences, recalling the deceased’s legacy of humility and compassion.
They prayed for Allah to grant her eternal rest and the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
