Gov Makinde at 58: Oyo Agency for Youth Salutes Champion of Youth Development

The Oyo State Agency for Youth Development under the leadership of Hon. (Prince) Adebowale Adebayo Falana has joined well-wishers across the state and beyond to felicitate the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. ‘Seyi Makinde on the occasion of his 58th birthday, is described as a visionary leader and a true champion of youth development.

In a congratulatory message issued on the eve of Thursday by the Head of Media Unit to the Chairman, Opeyemi Rasheed Socrates, Prince Adebowale commended Governor Makinde for his unwavering commitment to policies and programmes that have placed young people at the centre of governance and sustainable development in Oyo State.

According to the agency, Governor Makinde’s administration has redefined youth engagement through strategic investments in education, skills acquisition, entrepreneurship, technology, and inclusive governance, creating opportunities that have empowered thousands of youths to thrive across various sectors of the economy.

The statement noted that the establishment and strengthening of youth-focused institutions, including the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, reflect the governor’s belief in the capacity of young people to drive innovation, leadership, and socio-economic growth when given the right support.
