Forum of Secretaries to the Local Governments Lauds Makinde Over Delivery of Security Surveillance Aircraft

The Forum of Secretaries to the Local Governments has congratulated the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, on the successful delivery of the state’s security surveillance aircraft, describing the development as a significant milestone in the administration’s commitment to strengthening Oyo State’s security architecture.

The commendation was contained in a statement signed by the Coordinator of the Forum, Hon. Tope Aworele , who noted that the acquisition of the surveillance aircraft demonstrates Governor Makinde’s proactive and strategic approach to safeguarding lives and property across the state.

According to the Forum, the surveillance aircraft will significantly enhance intelligence gathering, improve aerial surveillance, and support security agencies in responding swiftly and effectively to emerging security threats. The Forum added that the development would further boost the confidence of residents and investors in the state’s security framework.

The Forum commended Governor Makinde for prioritizing the security and well-being of the people, noting that the investment reflects visionary leadership, foresight, and a firm commitment to maintaining Oyo State’s position as one of the safest states in Nigeria.
