The 33 Secretaries to the Local Government across Oyo State has celebrated His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, for his exceptional leadership and transformative governance as he marks six years in office.
In a special felicitation n Ibadan on Thursday, the forum, led by its coordinator, Temitope Alice Aworele, praised the governor for redefining governance in Oyo State through his people-centered policies, infrastructural development, and unwavering commitment to transparency and accountability.
Speaking on behalf of the forum, Aworele highlighted landmark achievements of the Makinde administration, including massive road projects, revitalization of the health and education sectors, rural development initiatives, and the prioritization of workers’ welfare
“Governor Makinde has set a golden standard in leadership, one that focuses on inclusive development and sustainability. His six years in office have been nothing short of transformational. As secretaries at the grassroots level, we are proud to be partners in implementing his vision and appreciate him as benefactor,” said Aworele.
The forum commended the governor’s ability to foster peace and unity across the state while ensuring that every local government benefits from state-led initiatives. The secretaries also pledged continued support for the governor’s agenda and called on the people of Oyo State to continue backing his administration.
