The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has presented brand new vehicles to some Mogajis in Ibadan, including Abass Oloko and Ademola, as part of efforts to support the traditional institution in the state.

The vehicle for Mogaji Abass Oloko was presented on behalf of the governor by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters in Oyo State, Ademola Ojo.

Similarly, Mogaji Ademola received his vehicle through the political group popularly known as Double-T, for the first batch of beneficiaries.

The presentation of the vehicles is believed to be part of Governor Makinde’s continued recognition of the vital roles played by Mogajis as family heads and key stakeholders within the traditional leadership structure of Ibadanland.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mogaji Abass Oloko commended Governor Makinde for fulfilling his promise to support the traditional institution, describing the governor as a leader who keeps his word

He expressed appreciation to the governor for the gesture and pledged the continued support of the Mogajis for the administration’s programmes and policies aimed at promoting peace, development, pment and unity across Ibadan and Oyo State at large.

The second batch is coming soon.
