Energy Security: Ekòló Thanks Makinde, Says It’s a Call to Serve By Team Ekòló

Hon. Abiodun Adedoja Ekòló, the newly appointed Special Adviser to Governor ‘Seyi Makinde, FNSE, on Energy Security, has expressed deep appreciation to the Governor for the trust and responsibility bestowed on him through what he described as a timely, strategic, and people-driven appointment.

Ekòló noted that the decision by Governor Makinde further underscores his leadership style—one anchored on competence, loyalty, performance, and strategic thinking. He described the Governor as a leader who does not govern by chance, but by careful evaluation of capacity and commitment to the collective progress of Oyo State.

According to him, energy security remains central to economic stability, industrial competitiveness, and job creation. By deliberately elevating energy to the front burner of governance, Governor Makinde has once again demonstrated political foresight and an unambiguous commitment to protecting the economic future of the state.

“This appointment is not only a call to serve, but a clear directive to deepen the Governor’s development agenda and ensure that energy challenges do not undermine our industrial, commercial, and social aspirations,” Ekòló stated.

He reaffirmed his readiness to work tirelessly in advancing the Governor’s People-Centred, Infrastructure-Driven, and Economic-Focused Agenda, stressing that the Makinde administration continues to raise the bar in responsive governance, institutional reforms, and strategic planning.

Ekòló further described the recent cabinet reshuffle as a bold political recalibration aimed at strengthening governance delivery, rewarding performance, and positioning the administration to meet evolving challenges with renewed energy and focus.

Hon.
