“Empathizing With Ourselves Is In Our Genes” — Hon. Kazim Adeyinka Bibire Hails Agboworin’s Empowerment Drive As A True Reflection Of Makinde’s Political Dynasty

A former Special Adviser to the Oyo State Governor on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters and Ibadan North Federal House of representative hopeful, Hon. Kazim Adeyinka Adeniyi Bibire, has commended Hon. Abass Adigun Agboworin, member representing Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, for his recent empowerment initiative aimed at uplifting the lives of his constituents.

Agboworin, a two-term federal lawmaker and Chairman of the House Committee on Narcotic Drugs, had on Saturday empowered over 100 youths and women with essential equipment to support their ventures in soap making, disinfectant, and liquid bleach production.

Additionally, he distributed 150 tricycle wheelchairs, crutches, and walking aids to persons living with disabilities.

The empowerment programme, held in conjunction with the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) and Merit-Plus Integrated Services and Global Resources Limited, took place at Apex Multipurpose Hall, Yidi-Agodi Gate, Ibadan.

It featured the presentation of gas cylinders, industrial burners, stainless mixers, cosmetic filling machines, aluminum pots, and other tools aimed at boosting small-scale businesses.

In a statement issued on monday, Hon.Kazim Adeyinka Adeniyi Bibire Bibire hailed the initiative, describing it as a reflection of the empathy and people-centered approach that defines the political dynasty of Governor Seyi Makinde.

“Empathizing with ourselves is in our genes at Governor Seyi Makinde’s political dynasty,” Bibire stated.

“Hon. Agboworin has demonstrated once again what it means to serve with compassion, integrity, and purpose.

He continues to prioritize the welfare of his people and that is truly commendable.”

Bibire, who is seeking to represent Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the forthcoming Bye-election, urged Agboworin to keep the good work going, noting that his consistency in touching lives and empowering constituents aligns with the ideals of the PDP and Governor Seyi Makinde’s vision for inclusive governance.

He further expressed optimism that such efforts would inspire more public servants to focus on impactful, grassroots-oriented leadership.

The event also had in attendance the wife of the Oyo State Governor, Her Excellency, Engr. Mrs. Tamunominini Funke Makinde, who applauded Agboworin for his continued commitment to community development and advised beneficiaries to make good use of the items to create wealth and support their families.
