The Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Abideen Kolapo, has extended warm greetings and heartfelt felicitations to Muslims across the world on the occasion of this year’s Eid al-Adha (Eid-el-Kabir) celebration.
In a goodwill message signed by his Press Secretary, Mr. Rahmon Alawode, the Chairman congratulated the Muslim Ummah on witnessing another season of reflection, devotion, and sacrifice. He called on all faithful to imbibe the enduring lessons of obedience, piety, and selflessness demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (AS) in his willingness to sacrifice his only son in submission to the will of Almighty Allah.
“As we commemorate this sacred festival, I pray that the spirit of Eid brings peace, unity, and prosperity to all Muslims and to our dear nation,” Dr. Kolapo stated.
He also urged Muslim faithful to use the occasion to pray for continued peace and progress in Ona Ara Local Government, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large, emphasizing the need for tolerance, love, and compassion in fostering harmonious coexistence.
Dr. Kolapo reiterated his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance and continuous support for religious harmony, development, and the welfare of all citizens, regardless of faith or background.
He concluded by wishing all Muslims a joyous and peaceful Eid celebration.
