Ibadan, Oyo State – As Muslims around the world celebrate the birthday of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Honourable Abiodun Babalola, a prominent leader in Oyo State, has felicitated with the Muslim community in the state and Nigeria at large.
In a statement released to mark the occasion, Hon. Babalola expressed his warmest greetings to all Muslims, praying that the blessings of the Prophet’s birthday bring peace, prosperity, and harmony to the nation.
He called on Muslims to use the occasion to reflect on the teachings of the Prophet, which emphasize love, compassion, and service to humanity. He also urged them to offer more prayers for the peace, progress, and development of Oyo State and Nigeria.
Hon. Babalola said, “As we celebrate the birthday of our beloved Prophet, let us remember to follow his teachings and strive to make our society a better place. Let us pray for guidance, wisdom, and strength to tackle the challenges facing our state and country.”
He wished all Muslims a joyous and peaceful Eid-El-Mawlid celebration, and prayed that the blessings of the occasion be upon them all.
