Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and hopeful for the House of Representatives, Oluyole Federal Constituency, Honourable Olushina Ogunsola, has congratulated Muslims in Oluyole Federal Constituency, across Nigeria, and around the world on the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, the commemoration of the birth of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him).
In a goodwill message personally signed and made available to his media team on Friday, Ogunsola urged Muslims to use the celebration as a moment of reflection and rededication to the exemplary lifestyle of the Holy Prophet — a life marked by obedience, humility, patience, kindness, honesty, and total devotion to Allah.
He called on the Muslim faithful to recommit themselves to obeying and upholding the injunctions of the Prophet and the teachings of the Holy Quran in their daily lives and relationships.
“I congratulate all Muslims in Oluyole Federal Constituency, Nigeria, and across the world on the celebration of Eid-el-Maulud, which reminds us of the noble life and character of Prophet Mohammed. He lived a life of selflessness, compassion, and deep respect for humanity, which remains a guide for all.
I therefore encourage every Muslim to hold firmly to these teachings — to live a life of prayer, service to God and humanity, and to make the values of honesty, humility, and peace a compass in their daily lives,” Ogunsola said.
He also wished Muslims a blessed Jumaat Mubarak, praying that God grants speedy answers to all supplications offered at various prayer grounds today.
Ogunsola further prayed that Muslims witness many more celebrations of Eid-el-Maulud in peace, joy, and good health, even as Almighty Allah continues to shower His mercy and blessings upon them.
