As Muslims around the world celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, Hon. Olanrewaju Sarumi (popularly known as Skido) has extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Ibadan North Federal Constituency, urging reflection on the spiritual significance of the season and the need for collective prayers for the nation.

In a goodwill message issued on Friday, June 6, 2025, Sarumi prayed for divine blessings upon the community, saying, “May Allah (SWT) accept our sacrifices, enrich our lives with His mercy, and bless our community with lasting peace and unity.”
He acknowledged the economic hardship and hunger affecting many families across the country and called on the faithful to turn to prayer in this sacred period. “As the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, ‘Du’a is the essence of worship.’ This is a time to pray sincerely for our nation,” he noted.

Hon. Sarumi also emphasized the importance of purposeful leadership and representation, stating that Ibadan North deserves a voice that “truly listens, serves, and delivers.”

He concluded his message with warm wishes to all Muslims celebrating the festival: “Eid Mubarak! May the blessings of this holy celebration fill your homes with joy and your hearts with hope.”
