The GSMists congratulates the Muslim faithful brothers and sisters as the crescent moon was sighted to bring an end to the month of Ramadan 1446AH (2025),

The GSMists rejoices with all Muslims in Oyo state for this year 2025 Eid-el-Fitri , In a statement released by the State Coordinator Hon. Oluyinka Moses Tella through the secretary of the group Hon. Kamaldeen Abolore Ganiyu urged all Muslims faithfuls in Oyo state and across Nigeria to imbibe with the spirit of self discipline, determination and perseverance to engage in twenty nine(29) days fasting and also to use this Eid celebration to reflect on the lesson of Ramadan as it was quoted in the glorious Quran 2 verse 183 – 185 , prescribed to be a religious duty for Muslims to cultivate righteousness and spiritual discipline, with the goal of becoming mindful of Allah.

The group charged all Muslims to continue practice injunctions of charity, love, sacrifice and compassion which were imbibed during the just concluded fasting period.

Additionally the group equally enjoined residents and citizens of Oyo State to pray fervently for the continued success and Allah’s protection for the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde in his quest to take the state to greater heights.

May this Eid bring you closer to your loved ones, strengthen your faith, and fill your life with joy and blessings. Wishing you all happy and peaceful Eid al-Fitr”.
