Hon. Hon.Olayinka Omikunle, member of Oyo State House of Assembly representing Ibadan South East Constituency 2 , has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In his goodwill message, Hon.Omikunle congratulated the Muslim community for their dedication, sacrifice, and spiritual devotion throughout the fasting period. He noted that Ramadan is not only a time of abstinence but also a period that emphasizes compassion, self-discipline, generosity, and renewed faith in God.
The lawmaker urged residents of Ibadan South East Constituency 2 and Oyo State at large to uphold the virtues learned during Ramadan, particularly love, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence. He stressed that unity and harmony remain essential for the development and progress of the society.
He further called on the people to use the festive period to pray for lasting peace, stability, and prosperity in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole. He reiterated his commitment to promoting inclusive governance and fostering an environment where all citizens can thrive.
“Eid-el-Fitr is a time of joy and reflection. Let us celebrate responsibly and continue to embody the teachings of Ramadan by promoting peace, supporting one another, and working collectively for a better future,” he said.
Hon.Omikunle also use this festive medium to call on all the good people of Oyo State to continue supporting the hard working governor of our dear state, Engr Oluseyi Makinde as he is continue working tirelessly to take the state to the greater height while he also confidence that Gov.Makinde will successfully in install his succesor come 2027 general election. He maintained that Omituntun 3.0 agenda is neccessary for the continues of good governance in Oyo State.
He wished all Muslim faithful a joyous and peaceful Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
