As the blessed month of Ramadan comes to a close, Olooye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, FCA, Aare Egbe Omo Balogun of Ibadanland, Chairman of Solutions 93.9FM, and governorship aspirant under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has extended warm and heartfelt Eid-el-Fitr greetings to the Muslim Ummah in Oyo State and across Nigeria.
In a statement released on the occasion, Olooye Adegoke described Eid-el-Fitr as a sacred period of reflection, devotion, and compassion, emphasizing the values of patience, generosity, and unity that Ramadan instills in the hearts of all believers.
He said, “Eid-el-Fitr is a season to celebrate our faith, strengthen family and community bonds, and reflect on the principles of social responsibility and compassion that the Holy Month of Ramadan teaches us.
It reminds us that our strength as a nation lies in our unity, understanding, and solidarity.”
Olooye Adegoke commended the resilience and devotion of Muslims across Oyo State and Nigeria, noting that their dedication to spiritual growth, charitable acts, and community service remains a source of inspiration for all citizens.
Reflecting on the national landscape, he emphasized the need for peace, harmony, and unity as the country approaches the transition period and the 2027 general elections. “I pray that Allah Almighty blesses our nation with peace, stability, and fairness in all political processes.
May our leaders be guided with wisdom and integrity, and may Nigerians continue to work together to uphold our democracy with respect and fairness,” he said.
Olooye Adegoke also prayed for continuous development and prosperity in Oyo State, urging all stakeholders to prioritize the welfare of citizens and to work collaboratively towards a brighter future.
“May this Eid bring joy, blessings, and renewed hope to every home in Oyo State and Nigeria.
Let us embrace unity, love, and social responsibility as we strive for a more peaceful and prosperous nation,” he added.
He concluded by wishing all Muslims a joyous celebration.
