Eid-el-Fitr: High Chief Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland felicitates with Ibadanland, Oyo State and Nigerians urges all to imbibe lessons of Ramadan.
AS Muslim faithful in Nigeria join the rest of the world to celebrate this year’s Eid-el- fitr, Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland High Chief Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja has felicitated with Muslims across the country.
He urged Muslims to in the spirit of Eid El Fitri, pray for peace, unity and prosperity of Ibadanland, Oyo State and Nigerians, just as he asked them to pray for their leaders and that with their prayers, Nigeria will overcome its current challenges.
High Chief Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja who rejoiced with Muslims in Ibadan as well as other Muslim faithful across the country for the successful completion of the Holy Month, urged all Nigerians to imbibe the lessons of Ramadan and the spirit of unity, tolerance for peaceful coexistence.
High Chief Ladoja particularly urged Ibadan and other Nigerians not to relent in rededicating themselves to the onerous task of nation-building, adding that the Muslim faithful must imbibe the lessons of self-restraint, sacrifice, charity and sharing with their neighbours and the needy in consonance with the teachings of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
High Chief Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja said As Nigerians, we should also continue to pray for security and peace in our beloved country, Nigeria and in the world at large. let us engage in what is right and avoid whatever is forbidden by our faith, and be good representatives of our faith.
High Chief Ladoja pray for the good people of Ibadanland and Oyo State praised them for their resilience and patience in the face of hardship. I wish all of you a peaceful and happy celebration and pray the Almighty God to grant your heart desires.
