5 decades is enough for the life of all living and non living components of Agbokojo suburb of Ibadan southwest near to adebisi Idikan popular building that shake the Ibadan wave with his responsibility of carrying the weight of tax duties of the whole brown roof city on his head.
A young Nureni Aderemi grew through the hurdles for decades in the axis from a humble background of Ansarudeen primary school oke foko for education because of the qualifications of the then government of the western region in prioritizing the complete attention of primary education now basic education which allows children of the west to enjoy formal education inside the classroom.
Proceeding to high school for secondary education at Muslim grammar school Odinjo Ibadan is not a mere 1km distance between the nook and cranny of where Nureni is growing up from in pursuit of quality education that later stands the test of time.
He proceeded to the university rising to a level of Doctor of philosophy (PhD) a feat that he’s one out of many public officers with such a good standing. Not to mention his Acumen as a Barrister and an administrator per excellence.
Dr Nureni never wilted as a young man because he’s profound for his respect for elders which gave him room to the corridor of power a Commissioner of education manning the lifestyle of generations to come. If wishes were horses, many people around him will definitely want to be like him because a model will definitely transcend beyond present gain to lifetime examples.
The rural communities in oyo state especially the young nursing mothers that are uncertain of what their new ward will become in the future can definitely learn from the tutelage enjoyed by Dr Nureni Aderemi Adeniran who rose from Agbokojo to the global view presently as the Executive Chairman Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board.
In terms of longevity, he was one out of many in the office because of his pragmatic, responsive and salient approach to issue top-down and bottom -up. His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde FNSE entrusted the basic education sector of all the 33 local Government including the informal education sector to him for the past 6 years. He transformed the administrators and management hierarchy of Oyo SUBEB by engaging in a selection of zonal executive secretaries for all the zones.
In a twist of faith for many families, Dr Nureni supervised after graciously getting approval from the Governor the best, most genuine and adjudged by the majority the most populated recruitment exercise by a state at Oyo SUBEB leading to the remobilization of teaming youths to the teaching service.
Dr Nureni supervised infrastructural development in Oyo SUBEB especially the construction of the model schools in the state which serves the test of time. Procurement of political power might be bought but proper handling of responsibility in office is dependent on the personality involved which makes Dr Adeniran a replica of what Governor Seyi Makinde FNSE is.
Oyo State artisans can identify with Dr Nureni because of how close he is to the grassroots, Market leaders will be at peace because he’s someone coming from the Agbeni- Ogunpa axis of Ibadan which is a testament to his relationship to the commercial nerve centers from a younger age.
Core or grassroots Politicians will be at ease because he’s been part of them since time immemorial. Which will lead me to the saying that Dr Nureni is a shining Light from the tunnel of Agbokojo Ibadan.
In conclusion, If the people of oyo state are assured of welfare and economic balance during the era of the most performing Governor Seyi Makinde FNSE, they can be rest assured of quality delivery during the time of Dr Nureni Aderemi Adeniran because as he’s been called “Imole” light that sharpens all things effectively.
